Calling all the Good Dads!

Whether you're parenting solo or with a partner, your influence as a father matters deeply,

especially during puberty and adolescence.

This one-day workshop will give you a foundation to show up with confidence, curiosity, and care.

Fathers Supporting Daughters Workshop

A one-day workshop to support you supporting them.

What is This Workshop?

"Fathers Celebrating Daughters" was created by Jane Bennett in response to the requests of men wanting to understand and support their daughters through their tween and teen years, especially in a climate of parenting advice that has tended to diminish a father’s role or offer only the most general homilies.

“When she’s in your company, your daughter tries harder to excel. When you teach her, she learns more rapidly. When you guide her, she gains confidence.”
— Dr. Meg Meeker

“My biggest takeaway was realising I was not alone. The comradery in the group was palpable. It was so good spending focused time together with other Dads and realising we are all on a similar journey.”

Nikki Berridge

My name is Nikki and I am an activist & experienced facilitator in menstrual education for the last 8 years—having worked in the health and well-being space for most of my adult life. Fathers Supporting Daughters is a dedicated space for men to explore and better understand the female hormonal experience, particularly through the lens of adolescence. I cover how hormones impact energy, mood, brain function, and self-esteem—and how fathers can respond with empathy, knowledge, and confidence. I am incredibly passionate about working with families to gift this basic body knowledge and emotional intelligence around the beautifully complex lived experience of the menstrual cycle— which, unfortunately, even in 2025 is still shockingly surrounded in both taboo and shame. (That’s real-world feedback / experience from working with young people in this area.)

Feel free to reach out via email if you’d like to know more, ask a question, or register your interest.

Whether you're ready to book or just want to dip your toe in—I’m happy to hear from you.

What you'll get from this Workshop.

An informative and down-to-earth session on puberty, menstruation, and adolescent development.

“What really clicked with me, is remembering how complicated our journey through adolescence is and that has made me far more empathetic to my own daughter’s journey. The day gave me confidence to be more open with my daughter and partner about discussing what my daughter is going through as she moves into womanhood.”

Practical tools to better understand the menstrual cycle, including our unique "Nature Seasonal approach", which is an easy way to understand the fluctuating hormone cycle & emotions.

"It clicked with me just how complicated adolescence is. It made me far more empathetic to my daughter’s journey.”

The reproductive system, once it kicks in, affects every single day—the body, yes—but also energy levels, emotional sensitivity, the brain, focus, even motivation.

I give you a window in to both understand but more importantly build agency to show up with compassion.

“To take one day out to just focus on my daughter was incredibly helpful. To do this with other dads and hear their perspectives was great.”

A supportive space with other fathers navigating similar questions , giving you confidence to engage in conversations around emotions, boundaries, body image, and consent.

“As soon as I got home I felt things had improved. My daughter and I had some really meaningful chats about some of the things we talked about. She was also really pleased that I had attended. I think even that fact alone has been a help to her. All us Dads left feeling that something powerful had happened to us. I highly recommend Nikki’s class to every Dad.”

Did you know...?

Statistics show that female adolescents are twice as likely to suffer with mental health challenges than boys. The Department for Education guidelines specify this as compulsory, yet still 70% of schools are not delivering—for various reasons. The menstrual cycle is a relationship that is so important to nurture and understand—arguably on a level with eating and sleeping. It lasts approx 40 years until menopause. Whether or not your child makes the decision to become a mother in the future—it IS something happening within them. It’s not “I’m in,” or “out.”! When worked with not ignored, it can have extreme impact into long-term wellbeing, informed decisions and choices. I want to instil a deep body-trust and understanding.

And we can do this together.

“It’s easy to feel apart from all things menstrual, but Nikki made us feel essential. We were part of the conversation. That alone was empowering.”
